A Part of the Community - A Thanks to our Sponsors and Supporters

The brigade operates partially from funds derived from the Fire Levies paid by local rate payers but also there is a gap of several thousand dollars each year. Members carry out fund raising and the brigade is supported by a number of individuals and organisations. On this page, we would like to show our appreciation to those that support us.

Sponsorship and Funding

The Brigade recently applied for and was successful in gaining a grant from Powerlink to build an incident command office area as well as finishing off our kitchen area. We would like to thank Powerlink for their kind gesture.

Goodna RSL Services Club Inc

The Goodna Returned Services League Club has been a regular supporter of the brigade in many areas over many years.

The brigade would like to acknowledge the financial support received from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. Specialised training equipment such as a lap top computer and data projector were purchased through this government initiative and will make training more effective and efficient.

AMEX Corporation - Property Developers and Investors have been significant supporters of the Brigade to date.

The Ipswich City Council has assisted in many ways for Ripley Valley Rural Fire Brigade.

A grant from the Community and Cultural Scheme together with a donation from Councillor Denise Hanly

has enabled our Brigade Chaplain to undertake studies in Crisis Management Intervention.
