Protecting the Community - Ripley Road Fire (October 2008)
The brigade had to respond RV51 and RV52 to a late season grass fire along Ripley Road, at South Ripley on the 28th October. An urban unit had been despatched earlier but were unable to access the fire which had spread to over 30Ha of rough country. The units contained the fire and left the scene safe at approximately 19:00hrs.
