SES Training Day - August 2010

The Ipswich SES Team and members from Ripley Valley RFB joined forces in August for a joint training exercise. A number of accident scenarios were played out to test training and skills.

One scenario involved the rescue of a firefighter pined under a vehicle.

Another scenario was the search for a person away from a vehicle and subsequent treatment.

The scenario of a firefighter pinned between a tree and a vehicle was the next challenge.

Dealing with shock.

Finally, a water rescue.

The good news was that all patients made a full recovery and that all participants had a great day out in the true spirit of emergency services team work.
