Protecting the Community - Ripley Fire - October 2005

One hot day in spring gave the Brigade plenty of action. Luckily this 260Ha fire was contained and managed over several extreme days. Thanks to the guys and girls from neighbouring Brigades and Groups that came and helped.

Waves of fire and smoke spread by high winds.	Property protection was the name of the day.
Oops..	Rebecca had a busy day.
Somewhere in there is George and a house.	and when the smoke cleared...
