One of the bigger jobs to develop in the region in August 2011 was the Kooralbyn job. We're not sure about the first week of this incident but on the 13th August, Ripley Valley RFB was asked to send RV41 and so John (JB) and Matty (Hungry) headed off. The following photos give a snap shot of their day.

 

Crews from all over the region gathered.

Patrolling and blacking out was the main aim of the task.

Some of the area could be best described as billy goat country.

JB just wasn't impressed about things.

There were a few hot spots to deal with.

A long day was had by all.
