Protecting the Community - Keidges Road, Redbank Plains - July 2011

On Thursday 28th July; the Brigade was activated to a fire in scrub near Keidges Road, Redbank Plains. The fire was visible to passing motorists on the Centenary Highway.

RV51 and RV52 responded and joined forces with two DERM units on scene.

Some of the fire was in the open but some was in billy goat country.

The source of the fire was eventually found.

Area made safe, job well done.

Time to knock off.
